                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF
                   CONTRACT NO. SR-1-90, WEST 54TH STREET SEWER
                   REPLACEMENT, TO MAYSE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY,
                   FOR THEIR LOW BID IN THE AMOUNT OF TWO
                   HUNDRED SIXTY-FIVE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED
                   FORTY AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($265,140.00).

              	   BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
         CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized
         the award of Contract No. SR-1-90, West 54th Street Sewer
         Replacement, to Mayse Construction Company, for their low bid 
in
         the amount of $265,140.00.
